PrinterTag privacy policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

PrinterTag is a Chrome and Microsoft Edge extension that prints price, barcode and shipping labels from the products and orders the user has open in their online store. It is designed so that data never leaves the user's computer.

1. Controller

Santiago Gili Silvestre, self-employed, Spanish tax ID (NIF) 34764541H, C/ Dels Montcada, 45, Local, 08203 Sabadell (Barcelona), Spain. ENRIC is the trade name under which he publishes his products; it is not a separate company. Privacy contact: hello@enric.app.

2. What data the extension handles

3. Purpose and location

Data is used only on the user's computer to draw the label and send it to their printer. It is not sent to any server, ENRIC's or anyone else's: the extension has no servers, user accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. As ENRIC never receives this data, it does not process, keep or share it.

When the user reads an order, the end customer's address is handled by the merchant, who is the controller of that data in their store; PrinterTag only helps print it on their computer.

4. Direct printing

With direct printing, the label is sent to software the user installs on their own computer (Zebra Browser Print by Zebra Technologies, or the PrinterTag printing helper) or straight to their printer on their local network. This communication does not leave their computer or network.

5. Extension permissions

6. Limited Use (Chrome Web Store)

The use of information handled by PrinterTag adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: data is used only to print labels, is not transferred to third parties, is not used for advertising, is not sold and is not read by any person.

7. Printing helper

The printing helper is an optional Windows program that users download from printertag.com if they want to print directly to other printer brands. It only talks to the extension (native messaging) and to printers on the same computer or local network. It does not send data to the internet.

8. Retention and deletion

Preferences stay in the browser until the user uninstalls the extension or clears the browser data.

9. Your rights

Write to hello@enric.app with any question. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.

10. Changes

If PrinterTag adds a payment for the Pro plan, the payment provider will process purchase data (such as the email address) and this policy will be updated before it is enabled, stating what data, who processes it and why.

11. Trademarks

PrinterTag is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Zebra Technologies or any other vendor or platform mentioned. Their trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
