Price labels and barcodes for your Shopify store, printed from the admin
Open a product, the product list or an order in Shopify, click the PrinterTag icon and the name, price, SKU and barcode of every variant are on the label. Print on a thermal printer or on A4 sheets. No app to install in your store, no permissions to grant: it reads the page you already have open.

What you need (and what it does not do)
Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox. No Shopify app, no API key, no store permissions: PrinterTag reads the page open in your tab with your own admin session.
Shopify: product, product list, orders and draft orders. PrestaShop and WooCommerce: the product in the admin. Any other store with schema.org product data.
Products without a barcode? Internal EAN from the SKU generates a valid EAN-13 (prefix 20) for your own shop. Wrong check digit? It warns you before printing.
It prints address labels for your parcels (customer address, sender, order barcode), not carrier postage labels. It is not a point-of-sale app.
Step by step
Open the product, list or order in your storeIn the Shopify admin: a product page (all its variants), the product list (select some or none for all visible), an order or a draft order. In PrestaShop and WooCommerce: the product in the admin panel. It also reads public product pages with schema.org data.
Click the PrinterTag iconName, price, SKU and barcode are filled in; variants appear one per row. Change anything you like: the preview updates as you type. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Choose the template and the price optionsName + price + barcode, big price + barcode, barcode only or your own template with your logo. Tick Add tax (VAT) to prices if your store keeps prices before tax; the compare-at price is printed crossed out for sales; the net content adds the price per kg or litre.
How many labelsOne per variant, or one per unit in stock (Shopify admin, WooCommerce, PrestaShop 1.7). From an order: one label per unit sold. The Copies count multiplies everything.
Choose the printer and printA thermal roll on Zebra (direct), TSC, SATO, Brother, Dymo… or an Avery A4 or Letter sheet on your office printer. From an order you can also print the Shipping address label with your sender details and the order barcode.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install an app in Shopify or give access to my store?
No. PrinterTag is a browser extension: it reads the product or order page you have open, with your own session, and prints. It does not connect to the Shopify API and does not store your customers’ data.
Does it work with Shopify POS?
PrinterTag works in the browser, from the Shopify admin on a computer. It is not a POS app, but the labels it prints (EAN-13, UPC, Code 128) are the ones a POS scanner reads.
Can the label show the price with tax?
Yes. Tick Add tax (VAT) to prices: the rate is suggested from your browser’s country and you can change it. It applies to every variant and list.
Does it work with WooCommerce and PrestaShop?
Yes: open the product in the WooCommerce or PrestaShop admin and click the icon. Stock per variant is read in WooCommerce and PrestaShop 1.7 for “one label per unit”. Order pages are read in Shopify; for WooCommerce or PrestaShop orders, type the address or import a CSV export.
Can I print the same labels again next week?
Yes. Every print is in the History with a Repeat button, and Save job keeps the list, template and size.
